Blue Anchor Bay Bead IslandsInspired by the pretty Exmoor village of Blue Anchor Bay in Somerset. The core of this bead is made with a swirling blue glass which has been speckled with shards of sparkly green glass to represent the sky reflecting against off the sea with the grassy moorlands surrounding it. The core is encased with a clear glass and the surface is decorated with white lines to depict the railings along the promenade.
In the mid 20th century the Aspen Mountain was developed into a ski resort and over the years has become a wealthy city full of boutiques
This bead is made with a small core of light grey glass which is then encased with a transparent teal
Combe Martin's lovely little beach lies at the bottom of the village and is surrounded by lush green cliffs and beautiful scenery
The beach is also popular with families
